Mid-Continent Oceanographic Institute

The Mid-Continent Oceanographic Institute is a youth writing center in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Based on the 826 model, they’ve been doing crucial work in the area for years, and have happily just opened a new space at 1915 E. 22nd Street in Minneapolis. Anyone within 1,000 miles or so should check out the new space. If you can’t get there, look on moi-msp.org for ways to support the center. They have great swag. Congrats to MOI’s leader, Samantha Sencer-Mura, and her untiring staff.
